Glifaro Terms of Service
Effective Date: 2026-07-04
Last Updated: 2026-07-04
1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Glifaro. Glifaro is operated by Wu Yujie as an individual developer / sole operator. The business address or mailing address for legal notices is Hongyi Huacheng Phase 2, Huicheng District, Huizhou City, China. In these Terms, "Glifaro," "we," "us," "our," and "Service Provider" refer to Wu Yujie and the services provided under the Glifaro name. "You" means any individual or organization that accesses, registers for, purchases, downloads, installs, or uses Glifaro.
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Glifaro website, web login and account system, Glifaro desktop application, license verification, update services, AI Agent, document editing, export features, optional remote sync, optional GitHub version management, and related support services. The Glifaro website is currently planned to be provided through https://glifaro.com or other domains officially announced by us.
By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a Lifetime license, downloading, or using Glifaro, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old, or have reached the age required in your jurisdiction to enter into a valid contract.
- You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
- You agree to our Glifaro Privacy Policy.
- If you use Glifaro on behalf of a company, school, team, or other organization, you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that organization.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please stop accessing, installing, and using Glifaro. If you complete payment after checking "I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy" on the payment page, you are deemed to have accepted the Terms then in effect.
2. Service Description
Glifaro is a local-first desktop Markdown editor, writing workspace, and related online licensing service. We provide the Glifaro application itself, account and license systems, digital access rights after payment, update channels, document editing experiences, and auxiliary services around these functions. Specific features may change depending on version, platform, user settings, third-party service status, and local device environment.
Glifaro may include or support the following capabilities:
- Markdown document editing, source mode, split preview, tables, mathematical formulas, Mermaid diagrams, media embedding, footnotes, task lists, syntax highlighting, typography, copy-paste, and content organization.
- Local folder workspaces, in-app database workspaces, file reading, saving, save-as, renaming, copying, moving, deletion, asset management, and workspace indexing.
- Export or conversion entry points for HTML, images, PDF, DOCX, EPUB, LaTeX, and other formats. Some export capabilities depend on operating system components, browser or system rendering capabilities, Pandoc, or other local tools on your device. Glifaro does not sell, host, or bundle Pandoc with the application. If you have not installed or correctly configured Pandoc locally, export formats that depend on Pandoc may be unavailable, incomplete, or fail. You are solely responsible for the installation, license, compatibility, security, and maintenance of Pandoc and other local tools.
- Local application settings, themes, language, appearance, shortcuts, fonts, auto-save, typography preferences, AI model configuration, and other personalization settings.
- Glifaro Agent and related assistance capabilities, including writing assistance, summarization, rewriting, retrieval, workspace reading, file editing suggestions, tool-call records, and, when enabled or explicitly triggered by you, web search, web fetching, or local tool actions. The availability, quality, speed, context window, cost, and data handling of AI Agent may depend on third-party AI services or model endpoints configured by you.
- Account registration, web login, desktop login, device binding, trial benefits, Lifetime purchases, device management, license validation, license adjustment after refund, and anti-abuse controls.
- Optional GitHub connection and version management capabilities, including account binding, shadow repositories, change detection, commits, pushes, and status display. These capabilities depend on your GitHub account, authorization scope, network, and GitHub service status.
- Optional Supabase remote sync capability, where you provide and control your own Supabase project, region, database password, access token, and API key. Sync results depend on your Supabase configuration, quota, network, database permissions, and Supabase service status.
- Desktop application update checks, version information, update downloads, and installation entry points. Update capabilities may depend on Glifaro update services, GitHub Releases, network status, operating system permissions, and installer compatibility.
- Customer support, billing, refunds, security, documentation, and other support services related to the use of Glifaro.
Except for Glifaro-owned accounts, licenses, paid access rights, and application features that we expressly provide, third-party services, local tools, open-source components, system components, user devices, network environments, AI models, GitHub, Supabase, Pandoc, browsers, operating systems, payment networks, and other external dependencies are not services directly provided or controlled by us. We will reasonably maintain integrations with these capabilities, but we do not guarantee that any third-party service or local tool will remain available, compatible, error-free, unaffected by price changes, or suitable for your specific needs.
Glifaro is digital software and an intangible digital service. Account benefits, license status, and desktop access rights are activated after server-side confirmation. Because digital services are delivered immediately, refunds are governed by Section 7.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Glifaro does not provide physical goods, shipping, on-site installation services, offline delivery, third-party software installation services, third-party account custody services, or third-party cloud service hosting services.
3. Account Registration and Security
Using Glifaro's trial, Lifetime license, desktop login, device management, and payment features requires account registration. You must provide a true, accurate, complete, and usable email address, and set a password that meets security requirements. Registration, password recovery, and other sensitive operations may require email verification codes and security verification.
You are responsible for protecting the security of your account credentials, browser local login state, desktop devices, system accounts, third-party API keys, GitHub authorization, Supabase credentials, and other secrets. Activities occurring through your account, device, or credentials are deemed authorized by you unless you can prove that the activity did not result from your failure to satisfy reasonable security obligations.
You must not:
- Share login credentials, license tokens, or Lifetime licenses with others.
- Bypass device binding, trial limits, license validation, payment flows, or security restrictions.
- Use another person's email address, account, payment method, or third-party credentials.
- Register accounts in bulk, abuse trials, bypass device limits, or create false identities.
If you discover unauthorized use of your account, device, or payment method, contact [email protected] immediately. For payment, billing, refund, chargeback, or other money-related issues, contact [email protected]. For application usage issues, contact [email protected].
4. Trial and Lifetime License
4.1 Free Trial
New accounts receive a 3-day free trial by default. Trial benefits are only for evaluating Glifaro. You must not bypass trial restrictions through bulk registration, device resets, virtual machines, scripts, shared accounts, forged device information, or any other method.
After the trial ends, if you have not purchased a Lifetime license, paid features and licensed access in the desktop application may be locked. The end of the trial will not cause any automatic charge.
4.2 Lifetime One-Time Purchase
Glifaro currently offers a Lifetime plan: after a one-time payment of 9.00 USD, you receive Lifetime licensed access to the Glifaro desktop application. Lifetime is not a subscription, does not auto-renew, and does not involve automatic top-ups or recurring charges.
"Lifetime" means that, while the Glifaro product continues to be commercially operated, you may use the desktop licensed features included in the current Lifetime plan, subject to your compliance with these Terms. It does not mean that we promise to permanently provide all third-party services, all future features, compatibility with all old versions, unlimited devices, unlimited AI calls, unlimited remote sync, or permanently free support.
The current default device rules are:
- Free trial: up to 1 active desktop device per account.
- Lifetime: up to 1 active desktop device per account.
- To prevent abuse, the same machine may bind up to 3 active accounts.
- We may refuse, revoke, or restrict device binding for anti-fraud, security, refund, chargeback, or compliance reasons.
You may view license status, device bindings, and available benefits in the account dashboard after web login.
4.3 Pricing and Taxes
The current listed price for Lifetime is 9.00 USD. We may adjust prices, launch promotions, change currencies, or modify plan contents. Price changes do not affect valid purchases already completed, unless applicable law or these Terms provide otherwise.
Unless the checkout page expressly states otherwise, prices displayed on the page may not include all applicable taxes. Taxes, exchange rates, bank fees, issuer fees, and cross-border fees may be calculated and charged by Waffo Pancake, payment networks, banks, or relevant institutions. The final amount is the amount displayed on the checkout page and confirmed by you.
5. Payment and Waffo Pancake
Glifaro's payment processor is Waffo Pancake. Payment card numbers, card security codes, complete payment credentials, and other sensitive payment card data are processed by Waffo Pancake or its payment infrastructure. We do not store complete card numbers or card security codes on our own servers.
When you click to purchase Lifetime and complete checkout, you authorize Glifaro to charge your payment method through Waffo Pancake for a one-time fee in the amount displayed on the checkout page. The current Lifetime purchase is not an auto-renewing subscription, so this authorization applies only to the transaction you confirm at that time.
Waffo checkout sessions may expire. The current default checkout session validity period is 45 minutes. If the session expires, is cancelled, payment fails, or risk control rejects the transaction, you need to start a new checkout.
We create checkout sessions, verify Waffo webhook signatures, validate amount, currency, environment, and order metadata, and activate Lifetime licenses only on the server side after receiving a valid payment completion event. Browser clients cannot write or modify license status by themselves.
If a successful refund, chargeback, fraud event, payment reversal, or other payment abnormality occurs, we may mark the corresponding Lifetime license as refunded, chargeback, revoked, or another appropriate status, and restrict or terminate access.
6. Cancellation, Device Unbinding, and Account Deletion
The current Glifaro Lifetime plan is not a subscription, so there is no auto-renewal to cancel and no future periodic charge.
You may:
- Revoke bound devices in the account dashboard.
- Request account deletion or submit privacy, data, security, legal, or other non-money requests through [email protected].
- Ask billing, payment, refund, chargeback, or other money-related questions through [email protected].
- Ask application usage, login, device, and feature questions through [email protected].
Account deletion may cause you to lose access to license status, device management, purchase records, support records, remote services, and future updates. To comply with legal, tax, anti-fraud, payment, chargeback handling, security audit, and dispute resolution obligations, we may lawfully retain some records.
If a refund is approved and completed, the related Lifetime license may be revoked, and the account will no longer have the paid access rights corresponding to that purchase.
7. Refund Policy
7.1 General Principle
Glifaro is immediately delivered digital software and an online licensing service. Except where these Terms, the refund policy displayed at checkout, or mandatory applicable law provides otherwise, completed Lifetime purchases are generally not automatically refundable.
Ordinary refunds may only be requested within the purchase day. The purchase day is calculated as follows: the successful payment time or transaction completion time recorded by Waffo Pancake is converted to Beijing Time (UTC+8), and the calendar day to which that converted time belongs is the purchase day. A refund request must be sent to the refund email address specified in these Terms, or submitted through a refund entry point supported by Waffo Pancake, before 23:59:59 (UTC+8) on that calendar day. From 00:00:00 (UTC+8) on the following day, the request is considered to be beyond the purchase day.
7.2 Refundable Cases
You may request a refund in the following cases:
- Ordinary refund within the purchase day: if you request a refund before 23:59:59 (UTC+8) on the purchase day, and there is no apparent abuse, fraud, chargeback, breach of these Terms, unusually high-intensity use, license transfer, license sharing, device-limit bypass, or other bad-faith circumstance, we may provide a full refund.
- Duplicate charge or incorrect amount: if a system or billing error causes a duplicate charge or incorrect amount, we will refund the incorrectly charged portion.
- License not activated: if payment succeeds but Lifetime license activation fails due to our system reason, and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, you may request a refund.
- Long service interruption: if, due to our reason, the license service or core download/login service is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours and seriously affects your use of the purchased license, we may provide a fix, extension, compensation, refund, or other reasonable remedy based on actual impact. Except where mandatory applicable law provides otherwise, whether to refund and the refund amount will be reasonably determined by us based on the scope, duration, and actual impact of the failure.
- Statutory rights: if applicable law in your location grants mandatory refund, cancellation, or cooling-off rights, those statutory rights are not limited by these Terms.
7.3 Non-Refundable Cases
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, refunds are usually not provided in the following cases:
- Ordinary refund requests submitted after the purchase day, buyer's remorse, change of mind, insufficient use, temporary non-use, finding an alternative product, price changes, promotion differences, or mismatch with personal expectations where there was no incorrect charge.
- Accounts restricted or terminated because you breached these Terms, abused trials, shared licenses, bypassed device limits, attacked systems, committed chargeback fraud, or engaged in prohibited uses.
- Unavailability caused by third-party service accounts, third-party API keys, third-party models, Supabase, GitHub, network environment, local device, system permissions, Pandoc, or other external dependencies.
- Transactions for which a chargeback, bank dispute, or payment network investigation has already occurred and remains unresolved.
- Non-cash purchase benefits obtained through discounts, promotions, compensation, migration, gifting, testing, or internal authorization.
7.4 How to Request a Refund
Refund requests should be sent to [email protected] and include:
- Account email.
- Waffo order ID, payment ID, checkout ID, or proof of payment.
- Purchase date, amount, and currency.
- Reason for refund.
- Screenshots or error information that may help identify the issue.
The time when we or Waffo Pancake actually receive the ordinary refund request will be used to determine whether the request was made in time. If an email is sent but not successfully delivered before the end of the purchase day due to an incorrect address, insufficient information, bounce-back, or network delivery failure, it will usually not be treated as an in-time purchase-day request. To avoid disputes, please use your registered email address whenever possible and keep delivery records.
We usually confirm receipt of a refund request within 2 business days. After confirming that the request meets the refund conditions, we will use reasonable efforts to process the refund through the original payment route within 5 to 10 business days. Actual arrival time depends on Waffo Pancake, payment networks, banks, and card issuers.
8. Billing Disputes and Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact [email protected] before submitting a chargeback or dispute to your bank, card issuer, or payment network. We will respond within 2 business days and use reasonable efforts to resolve confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.
If you directly initiate a chargeback, payment reversal, or bank dispute, we may suspend the related license, account, and device access until the dispute is resolved. Malicious chargebacks, fraudulent disputes, or false statements may result in account termination and may affect future purchase eligibility.
9. User Content, Files, and AI-Generated Content
9.1 User Content
You retain your rights in Markdown documents, attachments, images, exported files, prompts, selected text, workspace content, AI inputs, AI outputs, and other content that you create, import, edit, save, sync, upload, or submit.
When you actively upload, sync, submit content to support, enable cloud storage, enable platform-provided AI services, or otherwise instruct us to process user content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license solely to provide, maintain, protect, troubleshoot, sync, back up, license, support, and improve Glifaro according to your instructions. This license does not change ownership of user content. Unless you expressly authorize it or these Terms or the Privacy Policy state otherwise, we will not sell your user content to third parties or use your user content to train AI models.
You represent and warrant that you have the rights, licenses, and legal basis necessary to process, upload, sync, input, generate, save, export, and use user content. You must not use Glifaro to process content you have no right to process, illegal content, infringing content, malicious code, export-controlled or regulated data, or content that would violate the rights of others.
9.2 Local-First and No Cloud Storage by Default
Glifaro's desktop editing experience is centered on local files and a local application database. By default, Markdown files, attachments, images, exported files, local database workspaces, Agent local sessions, prompts, AI replies, tool-call records, and other local content in your local workspace are stored on your device, in directories you choose, or in your configured local environment. They are not automatically uploaded to our servers merely because you install, open, or normally use Glifaro locally.
You are responsible for local files, local databases, local backups, disk encryption, system permissions, device security, operating system accounts, third-party API keys, and local credential security. Unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise, you bear the risks of data loss, leakage, corruption, or unavailability caused by device damage, accidental deletion, system permission configuration, disk failure, malware, lack of backups, local path changes, or local environment issues.
9.3 Optional Cloud Storage, Sync, and Backup
Cloud storage, remote sync, cloud backup, and similar online saving capabilities are optional by default. Relevant content will be uploaded or stored in the cloud only when you actively enable, configure, log in to, upload, sync, drag-and-drop upload, import into a cloud workspace, select cloud backup, or otherwise explicitly use those features. By enabling or using platform-provided cloud storage, you instruct and agree that we may store, process, transmit, index, back up, restore, troubleshoot, and protect your related user content, workspace structures, asset files, version records, sync status, conflict records, logs, and necessary metadata to provide that feature.
If you enable a third-party sync service that you configure or control, such as Supabase remote sync, documents, assets, workspace metadata, sync status, and AI provenance may be synced to the Supabase project you control or configure. You should confirm that you have the right to sync the relevant content to that third-party service and comply with Supabase's terms, privacy policy, and security requirements. We do not control the security, availability, retention period, deletion effect, pricing, or compliance status of third-party services that you configure yourself.
We will take reasonable security measures for platform-provided cloud storage, such as encryption in transit, access control, permission isolation, log auditing, backups, and appropriate encryption at rest. However, no system can guarantee absolute security. You should not upload highly sensitive information, regulated data, or third-party confidential information that you have no right to process or that is unsuitable for cloud storage unless you have confirmed the relevant legal basis, authorization, and risk controls.
9.4 AI Agent, User-Configured AI, and Platform AI Services
By default, Glifaro does not provide you with AI generation services for which we assume responsibility for model capability, model results, or model availability. By default, AI Agent requires you to configure an OpenAI-compatible model endpoint, OpenRouter-compatible API address, API key, environment variable, or other third-party AI service before use. When you configure a third-party AI service yourself, your prompts, selected text, document fragments, attachment summaries, current file path, workspace context, tool execution results, web search queries, fetched URLs, error information, and related content required to complete your request may be sent from your desktop application to the AI model provider, search service, or fetched website you choose. How third-party AI services process, retain, review, train on, or share this data is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for it.
If we provide AI services hosted, relayed, billed, or uniformly configured by the Glifaro platform in the future or in a specific version, such capability is also optional by default. By actively enabling or using platform-provided AI services, you instruct and agree that we may process, transmit, and store related AI conversation data to provide that feature, including prompts, context, document fragments, model replies, tool-call records, session metadata, error logs, and necessary security audit records. We will apply reasonable encryption, access control, and leak-prevention measures to AI conversation data stored by the platform, and process it only for providing services, troubleshooting, security, compliance, billing, abuse prevention, and purposes you expressly consent to. Unless you expressly consent or applicable law allows it, we will not use platform-stored AI conversation data to train AI models.
9.5 AI Output Ownership, Review, and Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent you comply with these Terms and applicable law allows, AI outputs generated from content you input or select may be used and disposed of by you. However, AI outputs may not be unique, and other users may receive similar or identical outputs. We do not guarantee that AI outputs are copyrightable, non-infringing, accurate, complete, timely, executable, safe, suitable for a particular purpose, or compliant with professional standards.
AI outputs, Agent suggestions, automatic edits, summaries, translations, rewrites, code, commands, retrieval results, web-fetching results, and tool-call plans may contain errors, omissions, hallucinations, bias, outdated information, unsafe advice, or content unsuitable for your scenario. You must independently review, verify, and assume responsibility for using AI outputs and subsequent actions. You must not use AI outputs as the sole basis for legal, medical, financial, tax, engineering, safety, human resources, employment, insurance, credit, immigration, or other professional advice, and must not use them without human review for decisions that materially affect an individual's rights, property, safety, credit, employment, education, medical care, legal status, or significant interests.
Unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise, you bear the risks and responsibilities arising from your use, publication, reliance on, modification, execution, export, sync, or sharing of AI outputs, user content, Agent operation results, or third-party AI service results.
10. Acceptable Use Policy
You may use Glifaro only for lawful and proper purposes that comply with these Terms and applicable law. You must not use Glifaro, AI Agent, payment services, account systems, remote sync, or update services to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, sanction, export control, payment network rule, or third-party service term.
- Generate, store, distribute, or assist in creating illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, exploitative, privacy-invading, or intellectual-property-infringing content.
- Generate, distribute, or assist in creating malware, exploits, phishing content, credential theft, spam, security-bypass methods, unauthorized system access, or other cyberattack tools.
- Generate, distribute, or assist in creating content involving sexualization of minors, child sexual abuse material, grooming, exploitation, or other violations of child protection laws.
- Create, distribute, or assist in creating misleading deepfake content, including unauthorized impersonation of a real person's audio, video, image, or identity.
- Impersonate others, falsely represent affiliation, forge payments, fabricate refund reasons, or submit fraudulent chargebacks.
- Infringe any person's copyright, trademark, trade secret, likeness right, privacy right, data protection right, or other rights.
- Collect, process, sync, upload, or send third-party personal information, confidential information, regulated data, or trade secrets without authorization.
- Bypass trial limits, device limits, license verification, rate limits, risk controls, payment processes, or access controls.
- Bulk scrape, systematically extract, reverse engineer, copy, sell, rent, sublicense, or resell Glifaro, license tokens, AI outputs, or access rights to related services.
- Use Glifaro inputs, outputs, model responses, tool results, or derived data to directly or indirectly train, fine-tune, distill, benchmark, or develop AI or machine learning products that compete with Glifaro, except to the extent mandatorily permitted by law.
- Interfere with the normal operation of Glifaro, Waffo Pancake, GitHub, Supabase, AI providers, update services, or other third-party services.
If we reasonably suspect the above conduct, we may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts, device bindings, licenses, payment eligibility, or related features.
11. Software License and Use Restrictions
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and maintenance of a valid license, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use Glifaro on licensed devices.
You must not:
- Sell, rent, transfer, share, split, or sublicense a Glifaro license.
- Remove copyright, trademark, attribution, license notices, or security notices.
- Bypass, disable, or tamper with license validation, device binding, update checks, payment verification, or security functions.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code from Glifaro, except where applicable law expressly allows it and you have first notified us in writing.
- Use Glifaro to build a substantially substitutive product, competing service, or hosted editing / AI service.
- Use automation, scripts, virtualization, or other methods to bypass account, device, trial, payment, or risk-control restrictions.
Glifaro, the website, trademarks, icons, interfaces, code, documentation, designs, brand, database structures, server-side logic, update mechanisms, and other non-user content are owned by Glifaro or its licensors.
12. Third-Party Services
Glifaro may integrate with or interact with the following third-party services:
- Waffo Pancake: for checkout, payment processing, orders, refunds, and payment event notifications.
- AI model providers and OpenAI-compatible API services, such as OpenRouter or model endpoints configured by you.
- DuckDuckGo HTML Search or other web search / web-fetching targets, used only when you enable or trigger relevant Agent capabilities.
- Supabase: used only when you configure remote sync or create a user-controlled Supabase project.
- GitHub: for optional account connection, version management, device licensing, Release update information, and downloads.
- Resend or other email services: for verification codes, password resets, service notices, and support emails.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: for registration and security verification.
- Website resource providers, such as font, CDN, hosting, logging, security, and infrastructure services.
Third-party services are controlled by their respective third parties. We do not control their service quality, availability, pricing, terms, privacy policies, security incidents, data processing, or compliance status. You are responsible for complying with their terms when using third-party services.
13. Service Availability, Updates, and Support
We will use reasonable efforts to keep Glifaro available, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, vulnerability-free, free of data loss, or always compatible with your device, system, network, third-party services, or workflow.
Glifaro may automatically or manually check for updates. Updates may include feature changes, security fixes, compatibility adjustments, license logic updates, or third-party dependency changes. Some old versions may stop being supported for security, licensing, payment, third-party API, or compatibility reasons.
We may suspend or restrict services in the following circumstances:
- Maintenance, upgrades, migration, or security fixes.
- Third-party service, cloud service, payment service, AI service, GitHub, Supabase, or network failure.
- Legal, compliance, risk-control, sanctions, payment network, or regulatory requirements.
- Detected abuse, attacks, fraud, chargebacks, abnormal registrations, abnormal device bindings, or security risks.
Support channels include [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected]. For application usage issues, contact [email protected]. For payment, billing, refund, chargeback, or other money-related issues, contact [email protected]. For privacy, data, security, legal, and other issues, contact [email protected].
14. Termination
You may stop using Glifaro at any time and may request account deletion through [email protected].
We may suspend or terminate your account, license, device binding, or access if:
- You breach these Terms or the Privacy Policy.
- You are suspected of fraud, chargeback abuse, trial abuse, infringing third-party rights, attacking systems, or bypassing restrictions.
- Required by law, court, regulator, payment network, sanctions, or third-party service.
- Your account, device, or credentials present a security risk.
- We stop providing the relevant service or product, subject to reasonable notice or remedy where required by law.
After termination, you should stop using restricted features and uninstall or stop accessing software without a valid license. Provisions that should survive under law or these Terms will continue after termination, including intellectual property, payment, refund, limitation of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution, and privacy-related provisions.
15. Data, Privacy, and Security
Your use of Glifaro is governed by the Glifaro Privacy Policy. That policy explains what data we collect, how we use data, with whom we share data, how long we retain data, and how you may exercise your rights.
Payment card data is processed by Waffo Pancake or its payment infrastructure. We do not store complete card numbers or card security codes on our own servers.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account, license, and payment-related data, such as TLS/HTTPS, password hashing, token hashing, verification-code hashing, machine-fingerprint HMAC, Waffo webhook signature verification, rate limiting, access controls, and audit logs. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
16. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Glifaro is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no express, implied, or statutory warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, continuous availability, error-free operation, virus-free operation, no data loss, AI output accuracy, third-party service availability, or satisfaction of your specific needs.
Glifaro is a productivity and writing tool, not a provider of legal, medical, financial, tax, insurance, engineering, safety, mental health, or other professional services. AI outputs and automated actions may be wrong. You should independently review all outputs, exported files, sync results, code, commands, and tool actions.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Glifaro's individual operator and its employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, loss of goodwill, data loss, business interruption, device damage, content errors, third-party service failures, AI output errors, or chargeback losses.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of:
- The amount you actually paid to Glifaro during the 12 months before the claim event occurred.
- 100 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion or limitation of certain liabilities. If these limitations are unenforceable in your location, they apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
18. Indemnity
If any third-party claim, loss, liability, damage, fine, cost, or expense, including reasonable attorney fees, arises from the following, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Glifaro's individual operator and its employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers:
- Your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
- Your user content, AI inputs, AI outputs, synced content, exported content, or publicly published content.
- Your infringement of third-party rights.
- Your misuse of accounts, licenses, devices, payments, AI, GitHub, Supabase, or other third-party services.
- Fraud, chargebacks, attacks, malicious automation, or bypass conduct initiated by you or anyone under your account.
19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to first attempt informal dispute resolution with us through [email protected]. Please describe your account email, dispute facts, amount involved, order information, desired resolution, and contact information. We will attempt to resolve the matter within a reasonable time after receipt.
If informal negotiation does not resolve the dispute, the dispute shall be submitted to a people's court with jurisdiction in Huicheng District, Huizhou City for litigation, unless mandatory applicable law gives you the right to assert claims in another location or by another method.
20. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in advance through website announcements, in-app prompts, registered email, or other reasonable methods. Unless law requires otherwise, material changes will usually be notified at least 14 days in advance.
Continuing to use Glifaro after changes become effective means that you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the update, you should stop using Glifaro, and may request account deletion under Section 6 or apply for an eligible refund under Section 7.
